Who wins on SCHIP?

Now that Bush has vetoed the SCHIP bill, the question is what happens next. I suspect that Bush will win this one in the end -- in the narrow sense of the word. There probably won't be sufficient votes to override the veto in the House. After all, when have the Republicans bucked Bush before? But, I think this is a big loser for the Rethuglicans -- even those who vote for SCHIP are likely to be tarnished by it. Virtually everyone who knows anything about this knows it was torpedoed by Republicans. What more do you need to know?
