Here's the approximate vote totals in the New Hampshire primary vs. the 2000 primary (the last one where both parties had contested races):

2000:

Democrats 154,639
Republican 236,802

2008:

Democrats 260,000
Republican 210,000


Quite a swing in favor of the Dems, I'd say.
