I'll Say Anything to Get the Job
So, what does this say about Alito?
AP - WASHINGTON - Supreme Court nominee Samuel Alito distanced himself Tuesday from his 1985 comments that there was no constitutional right to abortion, telling a senator in private that he had been "an advocate seeking a job."Seems to me that a man who will say anything just to get a job is not likely to be a trustworthy applicant to the Supreme Court. After all, if he would say anything to get the job in the Reagan Administration, wouldn't he lie even more to get one of the most prized jobs in the land?
