Dirty Tricks
CNN asked the White House whether the N.S.A. had been spying on Christiane Amanpour. An unnamed "senior U.S. intelligence official" told them that there had been no such spying, since it would be illegal. CNN seems to believe it.
Wake up guys! Haven't you learned yet that virtually every word that comes out of this administration is a lie. And, certainly, being illegal hasn't stopped them from doing anything else.
We also learned today from the Tacoma, Wash. News Tribune that the IRS has been tracking taxpayers' party affiliations in at least 20 states. I wonder what they might be doing that for? I suppose it was just for the fun of it. At any rate, they promise they didn't use the information for anything because "there are strict laws that forbid it."
Yes, and they've also removed the word "gullible" from the dictionary.
