Joe and Joe are Dead in the Water

I've been somewhat engaged in eating dinner, so I couldn't come right to the computer to express my disgust for our favorite plagiarist, Joey Biden. He came on CNN in the midst of the hearings, at around 5:45 pm eastern to say that he thought a fillibuster was "very unlikely."

This is the most important appointment in years. This is the worst thing that could happen to this nation as far as the Courts are concerned. This ass hole (I try to be a family friendly site, but sometimes I just can't resist an expletive) just came on national TV and undermined the ability of his party to block this horrible candidate. He did it unilaterally, as far as I can tell. And, in all probability soley because he thinks he has to be Joe Lieberman lite to win the presidency.

Hey, Joe. You're dead meat. You won't even get past Iowa.

I just heard that Sen. Joe Biden, Democrat member of the Judiciary Committee considering Judge Samuel Alito, suggested on the “Today” show on NBC this morning that Senate confirmation hearings should be abandoned.

"Nominees now, Democrat and Republican nominees, come before the United States Congress and resolve not to let the people know what they think about the important issues," said Biden.

Biden thinks a better solution might be to skip hearings and send nominations straight to the Senate floor for a vote.

Well, I think a better solution would be for the bloviating senator to review his own performances at Judiciary Committee hearings and either immediately and dramatically improve them or resign. When Biden had 30 minutes to question Mr. Alito about “important issues” during the hearings the senator took 26 of those minutes and talked. Not questioned the nominee. Just talked.

The senator is the problem. Wake up, Senator. Wake up, Democrats.
