Bush boasting

Today, Bush is boasting how he managed to intercept and stop a planned attack in 2002 on Los Angeles using a hijacked airliner. Hmmmm. Anyone have the feeling that there may be less to this than meets the ear? A little like the NSA spying preventing the destruction of the Brooklyn Bridge, I think. In that case, it was a nut case with a blow torch that wasn't even caught because of the NSA spying.
