Reproductive tourism

The new term that's running around the blogosphere is "reproductive tourism." I always thought this was what sailors did when they stopped over at foreign ports, but that's not what it means now. Apparently, it now refers to oursourcing surrogate mothers. Indian women will sell their wombs cheaper than American women, so surrogate motherhood is being outsourced to India. Who'd of thunk?
