Blithering idiots prove to be sane

Well, it turns out the Newsweek poll I referenced earlier also asked people about the new NSA spying revelations. Low and behold, the 2/3rds of Americans who are blithering idiots are actually only 41%. By 53% to 41% Americans think the spying is bad, according to this poll. And, by 57 to 38 percent, they think Bush/Cheney have overreached.

I'm preparing to eat my hat and welcome the new-found sane Americans back in the tent.
