Unbecoming an enemy combatant
I don't quite understand this:
My guess is that the kid who is "no longer an enemy combatant" never was an enemy combatant, and the evidence has finally proven that even to the blind and deaf idiots in Washington who are running this show. As to the rest, who knows?
WASHINGTON-- Fourteen Saudi Arabians were released today from the detention center at the U.S. naval base at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, and transferred to their home country, the Pentagon said.I mean, how does one guy get to resign from enemy combatant status when the others can't? Do you suppose the kid just converted to Christianity or something? Or, maybe he just told his jailors, "Hey, guys, I'm no longer an enemy combatant." And, what does "determined they could be transferred" really mean? Are the rest being sent to Saudi prison camps or torture centers or are they returning to their wives and families? One was released because U.S. officials determined the detainee was no longer an enemy combatant. The other Saudis were released after an administrative review process determined they could be transferred.
