Latest poll

It seems pretty conclusive now that the latest NY Times/CBS poll has been released that Bush has failed to gain significantly from his efforts to monopolize the news with his terror threats. His overall approval still stands at a meager 37 percent, only 25% approve of Congress, and a plurality (48% to 39%) think their own Congressman should be replaced even though a majority (53% to 29%) think their own Congressman is doing a good job. The combination of the last two findings would seem to be an oxymoron, unless it simply reflects anger against the establishment -- a "throw them all out" mentality. It that's it, it sure doesn't look good for the Thuglicans.
