The American Media: FUBAR

My daughter just e-mailed me a screen capture (which, unfortunately, is unreadable when I try to put it on the blog) of an AP article posted on Yahoo news (the link is now down) about police raiding the offices and home of a California Republican, named Tan D. Nguyen, who is running for Congress. He's the guy that allegedly sent out the letter to thousands of immigrants informing them that any immigrant who votes is violating the law and will be prosecuted and jailed. The headline on that article reads:
Democratic House Staffer suspended over Iraq leak
As my daughter says,

What does the big headline on the page have to do with the article?? The
contents of the article are about a republican sending out scare-tactic
mail to immigrants telling them not to vote but the headline is about a
democrat leaking information about Iraq. Yeah, the media. If you're going
to report something negative about a republican you'd better find some way
to get a dig in at a democrat at the same time. Why don't they have a big
boldly printed headline saying, "Republican Sending out Hate Mail to
Immigrants"??
