History repeating

This war is looking more and more like Vietnam.
BAGHDAD, Iraq - The Shiite militia run by anti-American cleric Muqtada al-Sadr seized total control of the southern Iraqi city of Amarah on Friday in one of the boldest acts of defiance yet by one of the country's powerful, unofficial armies, witnesses and police said.
I still recall the troops fleeing from the roof of the U.S. Embassy in Saigon as the helicopters carried them off in abject defeat, while their enemies were engulfing the city behind them.

At the rate things are going in Iraq, we're going to end up fleeing in disorder from there as well.
