CNN to try to tip elections

Scheduled for five days before the election, Candy Crowley of CNN will run a "news" special on the incompetence of the Democratic Party titled, "Two left feet."

Have they ever run a special on the incompetence of the Republican Party? Of course not. The Republican Party is the party of the can dos. They can do Iraq. They can do Afghanistan. They can do Korea. They can do Iran. They can do Social Security reform. etc. etc.

Please, never call it "Social Security reform" without at least the words "so-called." It is, in actuality, "Social Security destruction," and that is the terminology that should be used always. Complete elimination of any old-age income program run by the Federal Government is the objective of the proponents. "Privatization" is merely an interim step that eliminates the insurance component -- the main justification for Federal action. "Privatization" turns it into an investment program, but in the long run, while forcing trillions of dollars into mutual funds and the like may please Wall Street, the radical libertarians who share control of the Republican Party will never tolerate a Federal program of forcing workers into any kind of investment.

The word "reform" is pure Republican spin. Unfortunately and unsurprisingly, the mainstream press has unthinkingly absorbed the term, and it works its way into the national vocabulary.
