The Cowardly Lyin’ Republicans

We know the “Neo-Conservatives” have been cowardly rah-rah advocates of war who themselves avoided serving and do not encourage members of their families to serve – the “chicken hawks,” as they are rightly designated. Just so long as there are enough poor Southerners, minorities and rural folk to show how tough Bush and Cheney are by not leaving – and enough poor Southern, minority and rural parents who are given little choice but to hope their kids and spouses are being put in danger for a good reason by a “good man.”

Now we face the present situation, and here’s a great, simple formulation (from Legal Fiction website) for continuing the effort to break through the shield against blinding reality that too many Americans are still holding up:

Let me say it clearly — it is cowardly to let others keep dying because you’re too afraid to face up to your mistakes.
