Zogby: Kean leads Menendez

The latest Zogby poll puts Tom Kean (R) ahead of Menendez (D) in the NJ senate race by 2 points, 47% to 45%.  If that's accurate and the lead holds, we'll never capture the Senate.  Of course, the difference is well within the margin of polling error, but that doesn't mean Menendez is leading.

The problem for Menendez is that there is a stench of corruption hovering over the Democrats in NJ, and Menendez isn't entirely free of the stench himself.

The problem for the country is that a Kean win and a Republican Senate would be far worse for the country.
