Glenn Greenwald makes a great point. All the Thuglican operatives who have been on TV all weekend have been lying when that say Hastert has proven that he's a strong ethical leader because as soon as he learned about the really dirty Foley IMs, he immediately went to Foley and ordered him to quit. In fact, Foley resigned BEFORE the IMs were released by ABC, and Hastert said he didn't know about them until AFTER ABC published them.
