Scandal has legs

It seems the Foley scandal is having better legs than I thought it would. I guess sex - even disgustingly warped sex - sells. And, no one except the most rabid of the wingnuts seems to be buying the "this was a Democratic dirty trick" line. After all, why would they? How could the Democrats possibly have forced Foley to do these things or Hastert et al to ignore it? At worst, the Dems could have been the source of ABC's information, but so what? It's the message, not the messenger that counts.

From what I can tell, Bush & Co. are falling in the polls that were taken after this story broke. It's looking good for the Dems in November, but it's certainly not time to start counting chickens.
