Social Capital

As I mentioned yesterday, I went to see David Brancaccio speak last night on the "Death of Journalism." It was a good speech, but, in the end, I come away wondering whether it had any real point. David mentioned "social capital" a number of times during the talk, as if this was the "solution," but I never really got what he meant by it -- or how it was a solution. Maybe it's all the medications I take that are slowing my brain down.
