Who is trashing whom?

In case you never got the memo, the Clinton people did NOT trash the White House when they left. The press generally was a bit less diligent in reporting the reality than in spreading the incoming Bush administration’s fabrication. After Florida and the Supreme Court’s illegitimate choice of Bush as President, the concocted story provided a basis for the theme that now the “grown-ups” would be inhabiting the White House. It’s one of those lies – like the absurd ones in 2000 about what Gore supposedly claimed that even so-called liberals continue to circulate – that probably will live on forever.

In contrast, it appears the Republicans in Congress really are doing a number on the incoming Democrats -- and, of course, the American people. Much of this reporting apparently is coming from the Wall Street Journal's news side. Wonder if the editorial people will expend any energy decrying it.
