Italians indict 26 CIA agents

BBC is reporting that the Italians have indicted 26 CIA agents involved in kidnapping a man in Italy and flying him off to be tortured elsewhere:

An Italian judges ordered 26 suspected CIA agents and 5 Italians to stand trial for kidnapping. The case is based on the alleged abduction of an Egyptian Muslim preacher in 2003, which may have been part of the US extraordinary rendition program.

Good! If our own country is too stupid to enforce laws against kidnapping and torture, then someone else in the world will have to do it for us. Of course, the people who should have been indicted are Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, et al. for ordering this. Maybe that will come eventually, but I doubt it.
