The Muckraker Rule

TPM Muckraker notes an emerging general rule applying to the US Attorney scandal. Any performance issue the government points to as the reason an individual was canned turns out to be one of the guy's/gal's strengths that the Justice Department had lauded him/her for just months earlier. In the case of David Iglesias, it turns out the Justice Department had appointed him to train the other USAs in how to conduct voter fraud investigations.
