Quick item #2: Glenn Beck, Wingnut & CNN face, calls Hillary the B word on air
Mein Gott. Can double standards multiply exponentially?
After considerable right wing complaints about left-wing "anger" and use of bad language, first we get Ann Coulter's "f****t" remark, and now we get Glenn Beck--on air, on respectable CNN, no less-- calling Hillary Clinton a "b***h". In two posts (a and b) at TAPPED, Garance Franke-Ruta discusses this.
Quoth Beck:
It appears that this nation is not yet ready for genuine leadership from a woman. Speaking of double standards, Franke-Ruta observes the lack of wider reaction so far, and comments:
This is not about one's preference of (Democratic, at least) candidates, but about, well, decency. One doesn't expect Beck to be decent-- he should be forced to apologize, or just fired outright. But where are the liberals? Where are the other Democratic candidates? Sen. Chuck Schumer? Bill?

am I the only one in America that feels this way? -- that there's something about her vocal range. There's something about her voice that just drives me -- it's not what she says, it's how she says it. She is like the stereotypical -- excuse the expression, but this is the way to -- she's the stereotypical bitch, you know what I mean? She's that stereotypical, nagging, [unintelligible], you know what I mean? And she doesn't have to be saying -- she could be saying happy things, but after four years, don't you think every man in America will go insane? Is it just me?This kind of CRAP (there's my bad word for the day) has about no place on a network like CNN. None. Support Hillary or not, this is beyond the boundaries.

instead of defending [Clinton] against these misogynistic attacks, just in case she does actually win the nomination, the hordes who defended Edwards' honor say nothing, or smirk private self-satisfied smiles of agreement.

If it looks like a dog, acts like a dog, well you get the point.
Anonymous: and the point is that Beck is a misogynist creep, right?
