Right-wing and Republicans about to be swamped?

Following up on Walldon’s post below (“Not a good day for the prez”), I would further wonder whether we are seeing the perfect storm?
• Coulter brings disgrace to the right-wing --again, but this time it may be tractionable with the PMSM (Pusillanimous Mainstream Media) that has enabled her and her ilk for years.
• Meanwhile, at the same moment, the right-wingers en masse disgrace themselves by laughing and cheering her comment.
• Dick Cheney and the two leading Republican candidates align themselves with the people who cheered for Ann Coulter.
• Romney actually yukks it up with Coulter.
• Republicans in the Senate and House breach ethics and possibly opened themselves to obstruction of justice charges by trying to pressure a number of U.S. Attorneys into bringing pre-election charges in key races.
• White House admits it knew about at least one of these efforts (Domenici) in advance.
• Disclosures of rats and cockroaches in the same room with wounded veterans of Iraq at Walter Reed coincides with Republican efforts to pretend they are supporting the troops and Democrats are not. President Bush names another “commission” instead of rolling up his sleeves and going in and cleaning the place up himself.
• Scooter Libby found guilty of perjury for not telling how Cheney told him to “get” Joseph Wilson.
