Blair gives the stupidest answer to a question in the history of the world

Hurray, hurray, a big-time media person finally asks someone who ought to know ($$)– not the ought-to-knower-in-chief, mind you, that would be just so uncouth and scary – what success or victory in Iraq might mean. Believe it or not, here is what Tony Blair, the prime Minister of the United kingdom, said:

"That's a good question. I can't be sure of the answer of that at the moment. All I know is what the price of defeat is."

More than four years into this fiasco, Bush's main supporter, and the single most self-righteous defender, cannot even say what we are trying to accomplish there. And even if we don’t know, we still know it would be a disaster if we don’t accomplish what we don’t know we are trying to accomplish.

Truly criminal. Tens or hundreds of thousands dead from this Alice-in-Wonderland logic. It's like one of those signs on the wall, slightly reworded: "The beatings will continue until we figure out why we are beating you." Here it's even worse: "The killings will continue until we figure out why we are killing you."

And you still think his English accent is cool?
