Who's "playing politics"?

The President’s continuing effort to make the war funding vote in Congress into a matter of the Democrats “playing politics” or are making “a political statement” is obnoxious. It’s time for Reed and Pelosi to fight back on this. “Mr. President, it’s time you stop impugning the character of people who are trying to save the lives of Americans by getting them out of a very bad situation. This is far more serious business than ‘playing politics.’ We have assumed you believe what you are doing is the right thing, and we expect the same courtesy.”
