They need to start re-writing the textbooks
Once more, Gonzales has flashed the bird to Congress:
I think they're going to have to start re-writing all the textbooks on our government and remove all that crap about three branches of government. There's really only one branch in America.
Two House Democrats criticized Attorney General Alberto Gonzales for refusing to send a witness to the House Judiciary Committee for a hearing on voting rights. In response, the committee postponed a hearing that had been scheduled for this morning. And, it looks as though Congress is likely to roll over and play dead one more time.Reps. John Conyers and Jerrold Nadler, respectively the Chairs of the House Judiciary Committee and Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights, and Civil Liberties, criticized the decision by Gonzales.
In the letter, the two Congressmembers also expressed their desire to work with Gonzales to secure Tanner's testimony.
I think they're going to have to start re-writing all the textbooks on our government and remove all that crap about three branches of government. There's really only one branch in America.
