Happy to report

I am happy to report that unlike the horrible Military Commissions Act, where both of my state's Senators voted for it, no one from New Jersey voted for giving Bush unitary powers to spy on us. I hope the vituperative letters I sent to Lautenberg and Menendez had something to do with that in a small way. I actually received a personal (as personal as they get, anyway) response from Menendez recently citing specific criticisms I made of him and responding to them. It was a pretty good response, but like so many other responses the Dems have made, it said he was now trying to fix the thing he broke before.
