The wrong story

I don't usually criticize McClatchy News because they've been the only ones actually reporting on many stories, but really, I can't figure out why they took the focus the did on this story:

WASHINGTON — For Mark Williams, it's a simple business proposition: He can't afford to sell medicine for less than what he paid for it.

But he says that's what Washington expects him to do, come January.


I'm sorry, but this is not a story about the White House trying to screw the small pharmacist. The small pharmacist can avoid selling at a loss by not selling at all. This is a story about the White House trying to screw the poor patient.

Get with the program, guys.
