Who do you believe?
When this White House says one thing and the New York Times says the opposite, who do you believe?
Frankly, if the White House says anything (forget the NY Times), do you believe it?
Well, if you said "yes" to that last question, the word "gullible" comes to my mind.
Spokespeople for the White House and the Justice Department said a memo written in February 2005 on this subject [torture] did not change an administration policy issued in 2004 that publicly renounced torture as "abhorrent."
