Where's the beef?

Publius has a rather interesting, introspective post about Obama and what his movement may mean to some of us progressives. In short, he worries that we've gotten sucked up into a kind of quasi-religious fervor, seeking to aspire as a group to a higher goal than ourselves but which may not have much underlying substance. It's worth a read.
