Yesterday, I noted that I thought the "McCain doesn't use a computer" ad was off the mark. Today, we learn just how far off the mark it was. McCain can't use a computer because of his injuries while being tortured by the Viet Cong (at least, so he says).

Am I somehow missing the sarcasm in this post -- which is pretty subliminal if there? Because by now you're aware, I assume, of how asinine -- and credulous -- its content otherwise was. McCain's fingers work just fine, he uses a Blackberry -- caught on film -- and it was certainly not the Viet Cong, the South Vietnamese Communists, who tortured him. Which is a distinction you are old enough to have remembered. (It's that sort of slip that vitiates attacks from the left of Palin's reaction to the "Bush Doctrine" question. Not that it gives me pleasure to defend her.) Once again your knee-jerk willingness to believe the worst of Obama is a form of Useful Idiocy to Republicans. (Not that it gives me pleasure to have to point this out to you.)
