Upside down economics

Part of McCain's "solution" to the economic collapse is a spending freeze. The very worst thing you could do in the face of an economic collapse is to freeze or reduce government spending. It's absolutely idiotic. If this guy wins and gets his way, this will be worse than the Great Depression.

The one time you really want to engage in deficit spending is when you are facing recession. It's the way to jump start the economy.
