Ooops, dropped the ball (again and again and again)

John Avarosis, over at Americablog, broke the story about companies selling cell phone records about two weeks ago. You will recall that he demonstrated this by buying copies of his own cell phone contacts and subsequently bought the records of Gen. Wesley Clark.

Today, John reveals in disgust that he gave the story to the Democrats one week before he broke it on the net in the hopes they would pick up the ball and run with it. Of course, as usual, they failed to do so. Now, it is the Republicans who are carrying the ball because the Democrats dropped it.
