First, Kodak announced it was getting out of the photographic film business. Next, Western Union announced it was getting out of the business of telegraphy. Now, Hawaii says it is getting out of the business of growing pineapples. What will happen next?

The future of Hawaii's top agricultural product is now in question as Fresh Del Monte Produce Inc. announced it will cease pineapple operations here in a little more than two years.
