Is Dubai Worth Bush's First-Ever Veto?
One of the strangest aspects of this whole matter is why Bush would want to go to the mat over this. I guess winning really is everything. Nobody shall get away with challenging him, period.
(P.S. It's tough to keep up with Walldon's productivity. Is it "blogroductivity"?)

Also, when it's God talking to you and through you, there can be no mistakes. Never a "Hmmm... yeah, maybe that wasn't such a great idea." (Not that much of that sort of thing is permitted to any politician.) But Bush and his devotees evince the syndrome of the scared, uptight little man who struts and blusters and can never admit to the tiniest crack in the facade because then, he's convinced in his timorous little heart, the whole edifice will crumble.
