A pox on both their houses

The Senate voted 95-4 on three amendments to the "Patriot" Act, none of which are adequate to correct the act for its flaws. 95-4. That means that most Democrats voted for this abomination. With representation like this, we might as well just crawl in a hole and hide. There's more danger that Bush will catch one of us than there is he'll catch Osama.

Update: I forgot to add that, as usual, Feingold stands virtually alone in objecting to this. Rus is beginning to look better and better to me as a presidential candidate.
