All for a wimp

It just keeps getting worse and worse in Iraq. Not only are the Iraqis getting killed at the rate of about 100 a day, but now the death rate for our own troups is rising rapidly. It used to be about 2 per day or less. This month it's almost four per day, and yesterday there were nine more killed. It's hard to know what to say. All these deaths just to prove Bush isn't a wimp, and yet everyone still knows he's a wimp.

BAGHDAD, Iraq - The U.S. military reported Wednesday that nine American troops had been killed in bombings and combat, raising to 67 the number of U.S. troops killed in October.

A roadside bomb killed a provincial police intelligence chief in southern
Iraq early Wednesday, police said.

The eight U.S. soldiers and one Marine were killed by roadside bombs and enemy fire in and around Baghdad on Tuesday, the military reported.

Update:

Now, it's up to ten killed yesterday, which makes the average exactly four per day.
