Flying blind

No, I'm not talking about the NY Yankees' pitcher Cory Lidle, whose plane crashed into an Upper East Side apartment building this afternoon. I'm talking about this:

FBI agents still don’t know Arabic. Five years after 9/11, “only 33 FBI agents have even a limited proficiency in Arabic, and none of them work in the sections of the bureau that coordinate investigations of international terrorism, according to new FBI statistics.”

So, I guess that means that we have no one, not a single soul, working on investigations of terrorism that knows the language the terrorists speak.

Do you feel safter now?

You sort of have to wonder what they're listening to with their warrantless wiretaps if they don't understand the language. My guess is that they're listening to the people they consider the real enemy -- the Democrats.
