Income Gap on target

Kissweb on "the Income Gap" is too important to rejoin in a comment. Conservatives and Neo-cons don't want to "get it" because, A. from the perspective of their knowledge based, but pedantic occupations whose educational training excludes political science and public policy, (i.e. accountants, dentists, etc) so they don't see anything wrong with the Social Darwinism of Bush and his Neocons, and, B. Rethuglican/Neocon think tanks (aka propaganda mills like CATO) have spent millions trying to counter educate the public away from the principle that government's role is to even the playing field to give the less endowed a fighting chance in the battle with the more endowed for a fair piece of the income pie.
