Mitt Romney acquires ClearChannel

I see that ClearChannel is being acquired by a group that includes Bain Capital, which was founded by presidential candidate Mitt Romney.

Question: Is this a strategy modeled on that of Silvio Berlusconi, who owned virtually every media outlet in Italy?

Controlling the press worked for Berlusconi for quite a while, but, like Bush, the people got tired of him.

I don't much like the idea of the media here being controlled by the presidential candidates.

Fox needs the competition as in-house propaganda, broadcast arm of the GOP.

Where's your entrepreneurial spirit, WallDon? Truthiness is in short supply!
