How to Resolve Iraq

Congress specifically the Democrats have to end the U.S, folly in Iraq. This requires the Democrats to stop shadow boxing with Republicans and put a specific plan forward, any reasonable plan by taking the following action:

1) Put forth a specific proposal different from and more effective than that of the Bush Admin. and the Republicans, any proposal, to stop the shadow boxing and focus on a solution.

2) The Biden proposal may not be perfect, but it is

A)better than the current fiasco;

B)Is a clear and specific proposal

C)Does not focus on integration of the factions in Iraq because experience has demonstrated that the current false hope for integration has led to both instability and disintegration. Partition can provide stability. Integration may follow. The to-date failures demonstrate both cannot be achieved simultaneously.

3) Attach all military appropriations for Iraq (and Iran) to this proposal.

4) Starve the Bush surge plan of funds until it capitulates to the Biden or renamed the Democratic Plan, if there is a need to reposition the plan.

As long as Democrats fail to put forward an alternative plan, the Republicans can render them impotent.
