The battle is fully engaged

The battle is fully engaged now that the House Judiciary Committee has subpoenaed Harriet Miers and the Senate Judiciary Committee has subponeaed former White House political director, Sara Taylor. Obviously, the White House will ignore these subpoenas and then the question is whether the Democrats will have the guts to do anything about it.

Update: Think Progress tells us that the White House will not allow these people to testify even if they want to. Hmmmm. I wonder how you prevent them from testifying if they want to.
