Bush aides See Failure
Somehow, I don't think the White House foresaw the headline it's release of the National Intelligence Estimate yesterday would generate in the New York Times:
Of course, no one in the Bush administration would ever admit to failure, so the NY Times must have made this story up. Notwithstanding that, the Bushies are doing everything in their power to whip up the fear factor once again -- and the Thuglicans in the Senate are falling in line as they speak against the Democrats' plan to end the war. It's the old "we can't end the war because Qaeda is in Iraq plotting to blow us up" trick. Hopefully, the public isn't quite as credulous as it once was.
