Hot Air

I read this to my wife a minute or two ago:

...in Missouri, the conservatives took control of the state legislature in 2000, and have proceeded to run it like their own private club. There has been plenty of laughter and scorn handed out to opponents, along with comportment that makes the US House under Tom Delay look like a high tea. A majority leader blew farts into the senate microphone during a Democratic speech on health care.

Her response. "It just goes to show that the Republicans are full of hot air."
