Press morons?

Lots of bloggers are calling the press morons for buying into the story, fueled by McCain press releases, that Obama had switched positions on the Iraq war and was now adopting McCain's position.

Yes, the press are mostly morons. But, in this case, it was Obama himself who made the story credible by flip flopping on so many other fundamental issues his supporters hold dear. When you see him happily handing Bush the wire tap mike, it isn't too hard to believe he would also cave to Bush on the war.
