32% and falling

The latest CNN/Gallup poll:

In the telephone poll of 1,012 adult Americans carried out Friday through Sunday by Opinion Research Corporation for CNN, 32 percent of respondents said they approve of Bush's performance, 60 percent said they disapprove and 8 percent said they do not know.
That's down from 36% approval last month.

That's the good news, folks.

Here's the not such good news. In the "generic" congressional race, the Democrats net approval over Republicans fell from a 17 point lead in March to a 10 point lead in April. And, that's before Rove went to work on it.

I don't really understand the last finding. It just doesn't make any sense to me. Go figure.
