Bill Kristol on Patrick Fitzgerald

Crooks and Liars has up a TV clip of Bill Kristol saying Patrick Fitzgerald is engaged in a deliberate effort to discredit Bush. The question is whether this is the new meme that the Administration is going to push through all its media outlets (Limbaugh, Faux News, etc.) If so, it seems likely to me that Fitzgerald has some ammo of his own. Thus far, his office has been remarkably free of leaks -- just draw the comparison to Kenn Starr if you don't think so. See my post yesterday on Publius' comments.

Kristol: The leak story is absurd, but I now think the whole prosecution is absurd.---I now think it's a politically motivated attempt to wound the Bush administration.---He is now out to discredit the Bush administration.
