Good riddance

Exit polls indicate that Berlusconi has lost. Good riddance if it's true, although Prodi is not much better. At least they're getting rid of the guy who monopolized the entire press in Itlay. Of course, we've seen exit polls overturned before. I wonder if Diebold has a franchise in Italy.

ROME - Two exit polls indicated Monday that challenger Romano Prodi's center-left coalition was set to beat Premier Silvio Berlusconi's forces in parliamentary elections. Two Nexus polls, issued 45 minutes apart, indicated that Prodi's coalition had garnered between 50 and 54 percent of the vote in both the upper and lower chambers of parliament, while Berlusconi's coalition had between 45 and 49 percent.

Update: It looks like Diebold is at work again. The polls are now too close to call as of 4pm EDT.
