Existing home sales are down 14.2% since September 2005 and prices are down 2.2%, the largest year over year decline in history! In the Northeast, where I live, sales are down by 13.7%, but prices are down by a whopping 5.1%. In the West, sales are down by a whopping 23.8%, but the price drop is 4.3%, somewhat less than that in the Northeast.
