The illegal spying scandals
Illegal spying is in the news BIG. But, it isn't the illegal spying you're probably thinking about if you're like me. Nope, it's not Bush's illegal spying that's in the news.
Somehow I find it very strange that the press and the prosecutors (and perhaps the public) seem far more concerned about Hewlett Packard's apparently illegal spying on its board members and the press than they do about Bush's clearly illegal spying on all of us. The press has been full of this story for weeks, and today it appears the prosecutors have decided to indict HP's former CEO and her buddies.
As far as I can tell, there isn't even an investigation into Bush's activities.
Even the failed attempt by New York's Republican candidate for Attorney General, Jeannine Pirro, and Rudy Giulliani's former top cop, Bernie Kerik, to wiretap Pirro's husband has gotten a lot of press and attention lately.
Just why is it that Bush gets a pass on everything?
